I am an applied economist working at the intersection of health, labour, disability, inequality and energy. My research asks how economic disadvantage develops over time and how it shapes mental health, wellbeing, access to care and labour-market outcomes. I primarily use longitudinal data and applied econometric methods to study these questions in Australia.
I am currently an Adjunct Research Fellow in the School of Society and Culture at Adelaide University. Earlier appointments include Research Fellow at the Australian Centre for Housing Research (ACHR), University of Adelaide; Research Associate at Queensland University of Technology; and teaching appointments in Economics at American International University-Bangladesh.
